Meet Mr. Rose
Jonathan Rose is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Hillcrest High School, where he teaches five choirs, along with handbell choir.
Before teaching, he attended Oklahoma City Community College and transferred to BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, where he received his Bachelor's in Music Education. While at BYU-Idaho, he served as assistant director to multiple ensembles, along with performing as a tenor in Collegiate Singers.
In his professional conducting experience, he has directed Rob Gardner's Lamb of God, and Handel's Messiah. In his performing experience, he has worked with artist Kristin Chenoweth and composer Z. Randall Stroope.
He currently serves as Associate Director for The Eastern Idaho Chorale, as well as the Area 10 Handbell Idaho Chair. He is an active member of NAfME, ACDA,, and Handbell Musicians of America.
